Lan Ha bay is the same as Halong Bay but wild and
less tourist, lying on the Gulf of Tonkin. It belongs to
Cat Ba islands area - Hai Phong city, in the south of
Halong Bay. Many people think that it is Halong bay area
because it also has hundreds of islands like Halong bay.
However, Lan Ha bay is different with hundreds of small
beaches, this is paradise for tourists to go swimming,
go kayaking or staying overnight in a bungalow...
Bac Ha market is the bigest ethnic market in the
Northern Part of Vietnam. It often takes place on Sunday
of weekly. This highland culture market is a living
museum of cultural and community activities, where still
contains plenty of ethnic culture with unique customs
and regional traditions. For this market you have an
opportunity to meet several minorities...

ITINERARY
Day 1 Hanoi - Cat Ba island - Monkey island resort
 You
will be collected from your hotel (in Hanoi Old Quarter)
at 07h30 am to begin the drive to Cat Ba Town. From here
you will transfer to a boat which will take you to
Monkey Island Resort (on Cat Dua Island).
Arrive the island, check-in and you will have lunch at
12h00 in the restaurant on the island.
In the afternoon, you will have free time to swim, relax
on the beach, enjoy some actives: beachfootball,
volleyball, kayaking or climb to the other beach to see
monkeys and taking photos of Lan HaBay?
You will have dinner at 18h00 (nomally BBQ dinner) then
free time in the restaurant or on the beach to enjoy
cocktail with sweet music.
We spend the night at Monkey island resort
Day 2 Lan Ha Bay - Hanoi - Overnight train to Sapa
After enjoying breakfast in the restaurant at 07h30, you
will transfer to a boat which will take you tovisit Lan
Ha Bay .
The boat will pass through hundred of karst islets,
beautiful beach, floating villageswhere we will provide
you a great opportunity to experience the real life of
the fish men who spendtheir whole life on the water(
good chance to take pictures). The boat will stop in
quiet area where you challenge yourself 1 hour kayaking
around hundred of islets and beaches.
Keep going back to the island at lunch time then
check-out your room. You will then begin the trip back
to Hanoi via boat and bus. You will arrive back Hanoi at
approximately 17h00
You are free to have dinner before boarding our
overnight train for Lao Cai. We travel in
air-conditioned comfort in our soft sleeper cabins!
Day 3 Bac Ha market ? Sapa
The train arrives in Lao Cai at about 6:00 am where our
guide will welcome you. Look for the sign bearing your
name when you exit the train station. We have breakfast
in a local restaurant and then take a morning drive
through the clouds by car to Can Cau market in Bac Ha
(about 2.5 hours)
Just before reaching the market we will see colorful
activity. Beautiful Flower Hmong people carrying hand
crafted products or pulling dogs or buffalos, all on
their way to the market. You are free to wonder around
the market and become a part of the trading activities.
Try some typical ?Thang Co? at one of the market stalls
for more of a traditional taste.
After the market we can enjoy a walk to visit the Hmong
King's former residence and Ban Pho village where
villagers make the potent local maize alcohol.
In the afternoon we transfer to Sapa town.
Day 4 Silver Water Fall - Heaven Gate and Ham Rong -
Hanoi
Good morning Sapa, enjoy the buffet breakfast and caf?
then check out the hotel before getting started the trip
to explore the minority village along Muong Hoa River
such as Lao Chai?s Black Hmong Village and Ta Van?s Giay
village.
The van will bring you to Lao Chai village where you
will start trekking via the rice terraces and Black
Hmong houses and suspension bridges, or to see rice
water mills and being in touch-friendly communication
with ethnic people ( the trekking way is not hard ? easy
trekking; trekking, taking photographs and going
sightseeing in the most beautiful landscapes such as
rice terraces, valleys, streams and to study the local
daily life?s experiences)
After 3 hour trekking to explore the hill tribe villages
belongs to Muong Hoa River, we arrive in Ta Van village
where we will have lunch and break here during lunch
time we can enjoy the ethnic minority people?s
traditional music and dance performances.
After a lovely time here, we will get on the van for 5
hour journey to return Hanoi, we arrive in Hanoi at 6.30
PM.
